Sarah was amazing at getting our son to express his needs and helped greatly with his articulation. Before Sarah, Liam was very frustrated with getting his needs met, especially around people other than his family. At age 2.5, he was well behind his peers and now he has mostly caught up! I was so impressed with the short amount of time that it took to make huge improvements. Liam loved Sarah so much that he would wait by the door daily, waiting for her return. Her play based approach was perfect for our high energy son. We can’t recommend Sarah enough!

Our son started to see Sarah shortly after turning 2 years old.  His vocabulary was very limited and communicating was becoming frustrating for parent and child alike.  Sarah was amazing! Weekly lessons that our child looked forward to and loved doing.  She made learning new words incredibly fun. Eight months after we started working with her, our son started his first school experience. After the first week of school the teacher commented on how articulate he was! We couldn’t be happier and still use the techniques that she taught us today.  Communicating is no longer a struggle.  The love and patience that Sarah showed, to parent and child alike, helped us immensely to get through a challenging time.

My 4-year-old son has been working with Miss Rachel for a few months and he loves her! She is so sweet, so patient, great at gently getting his attention back when he's being silly and helping him achieve his goals in positive ways. He's made tremendous progress and has gone from being overwhelmed and explosively angry because he couldn't be understood to now being able to talk to his family and take a deep breath and self-correct his speech so we can communicate with him successfully. He told me today, "I love speech!" I'm so grateful for Miss Rachel in our lives!

I love Sarah's approach to therapy, it's pure fun and play, which means our son loved her from the first interaction they shared. Sarah started coming into our home when Dax was 18 months old because he had not yet said a word, was making very few sounds, and had only a handful of signs to communicate. In a short 3 months, he knows many signs, speaks a few words and is making all kinds of sounds. His level of frustration has decreased because he has the tools to communicate more effectively. Sarah also takes the time to share the reason for her requests, helping me better understand how best to encourage my son's communication. I believe the fact that Sarah comes into our home, an environment where Dax is comfortable and feels safe, made a huge impact on the success of his speech and language therapy. I can't say enough wonderful things about Sarah and her expertise.
